On Good Friday, we behold the shocking truth of our King—Jesus crowned with thorns, mocked by men, yet accomplishing God’s perfect plan of redemption. What looked like defeat was actually victory, as Christ declared “It is finished,” paying for our sin in full and revealing himself as the King we desperately need.
